Yan Yan Yan Yan

This is the chinese character for self control

or discipline

Looking at the historical chart (from 1900 to April 2011), mega wave 5 is completed and there is a potential 'Head and Shoulders' reversal pattern, not advisable to move into stocks.

5 waves down from October 2007 to March 2009, it has to be wave A. From the low of 6547 to yesterday closing of 12426, Dow has gained 90%. To me, this is definitely the last journey for wave B, it is very high risk to move into stock. Even for short term trading, one must prepare to cut loss when the music stopped.

So, must Yan Yan Yan Yan (Cantonese). Or Ren Ren Ren Ren (Mandarin)

Another Death

If this was what has happened to a witness

assisting in an investigation

And this was what another witness assisting in

the same investigation claimed

MACC should have taken adequate measure

to protect themselve from this morning incident

They should have installed closed-circuit TV to keep track of events in their premises if they have learnt their lesson.

If other people can install 4 cameras in a hotel room as reported, there is no reason why there is no CCTV in this new MACC building.

Teoh Inquiry

DAP Municipal councillor, Tan Boon Wah, told the Commission of Inquiry into the death of Teoh Beng Hock that he was threatened and harassed by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers during questioning.

Kajang councilor Tan Boon Wah, who was taken to the Selangor MACC office on the 14th floor of Plaza Masalam, Shah Alam for questioning on July 15, 2009, the same day as Teoh, said he was threatened with bodily harm and made to worry about his wife and child.

"The officers told me they would bring my wife in and that would result in no one being there to take care of my then five-year-old child," said Tan.

"One of the MACC officers had also threatened to bring my daughter to the MACC office to see me cry."

Luckily he is strong enough to be still alive. Based on what he has said, one could easily imagine how Teoh Beng Hock could have been treated during questioning on the same day in the next room.

MCA - Guardian of Gambling

June 2010

Yesterday

MCA will go ahead with its plan to take the Kelantan government to court after both sides reached a deadlock in their discussions on the ban on lottery tickets in the state.

Besides shouting about these things, MCA has nothing else to shout as it is allergic to things related to NEP, Bibble, MACC, PKFZ, MRSS (multi-role support ship), submerine, Mongolia, Pendatang, Cow head, Hindraf and many more.

Dow and other Asian Market Indices

Dow has been moving higher in a very orderly manner with occasional corrections. No reversal pattern so far to spell the end of the uptrend besides the Elliott's wave count that has indicated possible terminal point that failed to get confirmation. One may choose to ride on the trend but must be prepared to cut loss when the direction changes.

Bursa Malaysia Industrial Index has a wave pattern that is very different from that of FBMKLCI and FBMEMAS but surprisingly it followed the Dow closely as shown.

However since January this year, it started to move quite differently. There is a possibility of a sharp downturn.

Singapore STI has chosen not to follow Dow since November 2010. It is interesting to see whether it can break its upper trend line in the next few days. Failure to break the upper trend line will further confirm the down trend.

Hong Kong Hang Seng Index looked very much like the STI, keep an eye on its upper trend line.

Shanghai SSEC has been moving on its own since August 2009 after its 500% run-up. Watch out for the next down-wave of its wave E.

My wave count for Nikkei is as shown above. Its last peak was before the collapse of its 1989 real estate bubble.

With the latest crisis in Japan, Nikkei is expected to remain in the downtrend channel for a longer period.

Poco-Poco

Last year Yoga was banned

and now

Islamic clerics in Perak want Muslims to avoid Poco-poco, a popular dance they claim has Christian influences. They believe the "poco-poco" is traditionally a Christian dance and that its steps make the sign of the cross.

I think we need to replace some of our utility post
Some might claim to have seen Jesus up there at night

The "poco-poco" is a line dance that is common at social events in Malaysia. It is widely thought to have originated in Indonesia.

State cleric Harussani Idris Zakaria said yesterday the scholars have issued an edict forbidding the dance. It is not clear if other states will ban it.

The song is nice to listen,

the dance is nice to watch.

Something lighter

An elderly couple had dinner at another couple's house, and after eating, the wives left the table and went into the kitchen.

The two gentlemen were talking, and one said,
'Last night we went out to a new restaurant and it was really great. I would recommend it very highly.'

The other man said, 'What is the name of the restaurant?'

The first man thought and thought and finally said,
'What is the name of that flower you give to someone you love?

You know.... The one that's red and has thorns.'

'Do you mean a rose?'

'Yes, that's the one,' replied the man.

He then turned towards the kitchen and yelled,
'Rose, what's the name of that restaurant we went to last night?'
