Kick Lynas back to Australia

Rare earth refineries at Baotou, Mongolia.

Besides the refineries is a 5-mile wide 'tailing' lake of bubbling toxic waste. Before the setting up of the refineries these areas were wheat and corn field.

Radio-active slurry from the rare earth factories

To preserve the above, 10,000 protestors are expected to gather at Taman Gelora in Kuantan this coming Sunday, 9th October 2011, to protest against the A$230 million Lynas rare earth plant, the world's biggest rare earth refinery, that is being constructed on a 250 acres of tropical swampland at Gebeng, 25 km North of Kuantan.

Let's kick Lynas back to Australia
